Our position is enviable, we are in Anghiari, a small medieval village in the heart of Tuscany, with its colors and scents, steeped in history and culture, in the deepest nature of sunsets and starry skies.

Our luxury house is very close to the town of Anghiari, take a nice walk or 5 minutes by car.

Just 500 meters from us, in the village of Tavernelle di Anghiari, you will find the basic necessities and some restaurants. Anghiari is a small gem known throughout the world for its art and culture, to the antique shops and local crafts and for its history of a small medieval town.

Designed by the flow of the river Arno and Tevere is dotted with churches and castles develops in an area rich in monasteries and archaeological sites from the top you can see the whole valley.

Its narrow streets and squares are home to masterpieces of painting and sculpture so that in recent years has received important recognition from the Italian touring cub who declared it one of the most beautiful villages and characteristic of Italy.

Famous artists have lived in these places just think of Michelangelo Buonarroti, Piero della Francesca, Luca Pacioli and Leonardo da Vinci paint  the famous “Battle of Anghiari”.

The narrow streets, the views of the valley are a precious discovery for everyone even for locals.

The food, the art, the history, the culture can be felt everywhere, in the farmer's market on Wednesday or in the Tuesday and Saturday to Sansepolcro, during the many festivals held throughout the year, and especially in the summer festivals during his music festival.

The house for its location and its links is often used as a basis or starting point for visiting the most popular places in Tuscany such as Florence, Siena, Assisi, Perugia, which are less than 100 miles from us, in a few hours instead you can reach Lucca and Pisa.

Doing many km are the lesser known but charming villages of Sansepolcro, Cortona very famous for the  book and movie "Under the Tuscan Sun" by Frances Mayes, Citerna, Monterchi, not to be forgotten is the beautiful hermitage of La Verna where Francis of Assisi received the stigmata and Arezzo famous in all the world for the film "Life is Beautiful" by Roberto Benigni where every first weekend of the month is held one of the most famous antiques fairs in Italy. Being on the border with Umbria is worth a walk in Città di Castello, Gubbio and Lake Trasimeno up to Spello or Deruta is known worldwide for its famous handmade pottery instead ..

The Adriatic coast with its famous beaches and nightlife hectic of Rimini and Riccione, and several amusement parks and outlets are located about 120km from us. The part of the Tyrrhenian and the Argentario area with crystal clear beaches are only 170 miles from us, Elba and Giglio Island can be reached in a couple of hours and a half hour ferry

From Florence you have two ways of reaching the house:

From Fi / Ar Highway e78 to the village of Ville follow directions Anghiari, reached the country at the traffic lights turn left towards towards Arezzo is approximately 2 km along a winding road. In straight and slow down at the sign of Commenda that you will find along the road turn right to walk the last 200 meters of dirt road.

From Fi / Ar Exit the A1 at Arezzo, continue towards Bibbiena and then towards Anghiari along the highway Libbia. After the village of Tavernelle di Anghiari slow down and turn at the sign of the Commenda on the left

From Rome / Pg Take the E45 highway exit at Sansepolcro and drive towards Anghiari arrived in top of the village at the traffic lights go straight on for 2 km at the sign of the Commanda house turn to right

By Bo / Cesena Follow the E45 towards Rome exit at Sansepolcro south and continue for Anghiari at the traffic lights at the top of the village continue straight for 2 km turn right when you see the sign of the house
